Gas lines for the appliances you want
We run and connect gas lines for kitchen ranges, fireplace gas logs, outdoor grills and kitchens, pool heaters and water heaters. Adding or moving an appliance often means checking whether your existing line has enough capacity, and your plumber will size the piping so every appliance gets the gas it needs.
Switching between propane and natural gas? The appliance must be approved for the conversion, and we'll tell you what's involved.

What our
customers say.
“I had a gas leak that needed to be looked at. The technician, Nicholas, came out and assessed the problem and replaced the rusted pipes. He also took the time to let us know what was going on and what steps he took to correct the situation. I would definitely recommend them.”
“Hank and Cory just came to my house and worked miracles. I had a mishap with my gas stove that caused a fire in the kitchen (mishap involving poorly behaving raccoons). They were at my house by 9 am to cap my gas...”

“Hank and Cory just came to my house and worked miracles. I had a mishap with my gas stove that caused a fire in the kitchen (mishap involving poorly behaving raccoons). They were at my house by 9 am to cap my gas line so that I would have peace of mind that this incident wouldn’t happen again. They were very professional and knowledgeable but most of all the were extremely kind. And, for those of you who are concerned with price, what they charged was exceptionally reasonable considering they came so quickly. If you have plumbing needs these are the folks to call. I know I will be using them again.”
A few common questions.
Can my existing gas line handle a new appliance?
Not always. Every appliance needs a certain amount of gas, and adding one can overload an existing line. Your plumber will check your current piping and tell you whether it can handle the new appliance or needs upsizing.
Do I need a permit for gas line work?
It depends on the project. Your quote will spell out what's required for your job — permits, inspection and pressure testing — and who's handling each step.
How much does gas line work cost?
Our residential diagnostic fee is $89, waived when you go ahead with the work at the quoted price. You'll get a firm price on site before anything starts. Pay by cash, check or card, or ask your plumber about financing.
Should I call you first if I smell gas?
No — get out first. Leave the house, and from outside call Dominion Energy's gas emergency line at 800-815-0083 or 911. Once the utility has made it safe, call us to repair the line.
