Plumbing emergencies we handle every week

Burst pipes

Shut off your main water valve if you can reach it safely, then call. We'll stop the leak and repair the damaged line.

Clogged drains

Sink, tub or shower completely backed up? Our trucks carry professional drain-cleaning machines to clear it fast.

Overflowing toilets

Stop flushing and close the valve behind the toilet if it turns easily. We'll find out whether the problem is the toilet or the line beyond it.

No hot water

We repair and replace tank and tankless water heaters from Rinnai, A.O. Smith and Rheem — and service every other major brand.

Sewer backups

Wastewater coming up through your drains needs fast attention. Stop using water in the house, keep clear of the sewage, and call us.

Waiting for your plumber? Do these three things.

  1. Shut off the water

Close the fixture's shutoff valve or your main water valve — but only if you can reach it safely and it turns easily.

  2. Stay safe

Keep people and pets away from standing water, sewage and anything electrical. If you smell gas, leave the house and call Dominion Energy at 800-815-0083 or 911.

  3. Call (803) 781-4357

Tell us what's happening and where. Skip the chemical drain cleaners — your plumber will take it from here.

Why Midlands homeowners call On Call in an emergency

When water is on the floor, you need a plumber you can trust — not a sales pitch. On Call has been family-owned in the Midlands since 2011, and our master and journeyman plumbers bring more than 100 years of combined experience to every call.

Your plumber diagnoses the problem, shows you what they found and gives you a firm price before any work begins. Licensed in South Carolina (Mechanical License CLM.111515 MC), insured, BBB Accredited and rated 4.9 stars from 298 Google reviews.

What to expect from your emergency plumbing visit

  1. Describe the problem and arrange the visit

Tell us what happened, when it started and which fixtures are affected. We discuss current availability and applicable visit charges before arranging service.

  2. Get an on-site diagnosis and quote

Our technician assesses the problem, explains the findings and quotes the proposed work. We do not give phone estimates. You can review the repair and access requirements before deciding to proceed.

  3. Understand repairs and follow-up work

Parts, access and the condition of the plumbing affect what can be completed during the visit. If further work is needed, we explain the next step. Drying, sewage cleanup, wall repairs and flooring are not automatically included in a plumbing quote.

Leak Detection & Repair

Water where it shouldn't be, but no obvious source? We track down hidden leaks and fix them.

Drain Cleaning & Clogged Pipes

Slow drains and clogs that keep coming back — cleared, with camera inspection to find the cause.

Hot Water Heater Repair

No hot water or a leaking tank? We repair and replace tank, tankless and hybrid water heaters.

A few common questions.

Is emergency plumbing service available 24/7?

Yes. Our licensed plumbers handle emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights and weekends. Call (803) 781-4357.

How much does an emergency plumbing visit cost?

After-hours visits may carry an additional charge, and our team will tell you the price when you call — before a plumber is dispatched — so there are no surprises. During regular hours, our residential diagnostic fee is $89 and is waived when you go ahead with the repair at the quoted price.

How do I pay?

Payment is due to your technician on site by cash, check or card. For bigger repairs or a water heater replacement, your technician can also walk you through financing options in person.

Do you handle water damage cleanup?

We stop the leak and repair the plumbing. Drying, sewage cleanup and repairs to drywall or flooring are handled by a restoration company — ask your plumber and we'll point you in the right direction.
