Start with what you want to fix
Constant repairs, rooms that never cool, high bills or a system on its last legs — each points to a different solution. Tell your technician what's bothered you most, and they'll recommend a system that addresses it. Not sure whether to repair or replace? We'll give you prices for both.
Good, better, best: single-stage, two-stage or variable-speed
Single-stage systems run at full power or not at all. Two-stage and variable-speed Trane systems can run at lower speeds for longer, which means steadier temperatures and better humidity control — a big deal in a Columbia summer. Your technician will compare options against your comfort goals and budget, and check that your ductwork can deliver the performance you're paying for.
Sized for your home — not copied from the old unit
Bigger isn't better. We size your new system for your home and how air reaches each room, rather than just matching the old unit — which may have been the wrong size all along. The right size runs efficiently and controls humidity the way it should.
One clear installed price
Your quote spells out the indoor and outdoor equipment, thermostat, connections, removal of the old system, any electrical, drain or duct changes, and permit and inspection responsibilities. You'll know exactly what you're getting before anything is scheduled.
After installation
Your technician walks you through the new thermostat and filters and explains your Trane warranty and registration.
Our HVAC Maintenance plan keeps your new system tuned up every spring and fall.

A few common questions.
Should I get a bigger AC to fix warm rooms?
Usually not. An oversized AC cools fast but shuts off before it removes humidity, leaving your house cool and clammy. We size your new system for your home, and look at ductwork and airflow if certain rooms have always been hot.
What brand do you install?
We install primarily Trane, in single-stage, two-stage and variable-speed options, so you can choose the comfort level and budget that fit your home.
Can I finance a new AC?
Yes. Financing is available through GreenSky and Wells Fargo for qualifying installations, including a fixed-rate GreenSky plan at 9.99% APR. Your technician can walk you through the options in person. Subject to credit approval.
How do I get a price on a new system?
Your technician visits your home, checks your current system and ductwork and gives you one firm installed price — equipment, labor and any electrical, drain or duct changes — before anything is scheduled.
Do I have to replace everything?
Not always. Depending on its age and condition, we may be able to keep parts of your existing system, like ductwork. Your quote will spell out exactly what's being replaced and what isn't.
